A classic 9 day safari commencing in Nairobi as you spend 2 days at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro marvelling at the “Roof of Africa” before travelling into Tanzania and experience game drives in a 4wd vehicle in the Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire NP and witness the great migration on the endless plains of the Serengeti.

DAY 01 – JKIA - NAIROBI

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport met and assisted by a SOA Representative before being transferred to your town hotel for check-in. Rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Intercontinental, Nairobi

DAY 02 – NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – Distance – 260kms – 4hrs

Breakfast at the hotel Rest of the morning is spent at leisure at the hotel – (Hotel check out time at 1000hrs) Lunch is served at the hotel Depart after lunch and drive over to Amboseli National Park which is set at the foot of the most famous symbol of Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro. DAY 03 – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

This is your full day to explore the Amboseli National Park. Famous for its large herds of elephants and in particular its big tuskers, a day in Amboseli is surely a highlight of your safari. Overnight: Amboseli Sopa Lodge MEALS: All meals at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge

DAY 04 – AMBOSELI – ARUSHA – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA – Distance – 410kms – 7hrs

After breakfast at the overnight lodge, you will drive to the border post where you will clear immigration formalities and immediately proceed to Arusha town for lunch. After lunch proceed to Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Arrive at the lodge in late afternoon for check in. Rest of the evening is spent in leisure. Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge MEALS: Breakfast – Amboseli Sopa Lodge Lunch – Arusha Cultural Center Dinner – Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

DAY 05– NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Early breakfast at the lodge Depart with picnic lunch boxes and descend over 600 meters to the floor of the crater for a full day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkey and elephant, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Later in the afternoon, transfer back to your lodge on the crater rim. Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge MEALS: All meals at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

DAY 06 – NGORONGORO – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – Distance – 190kms - 4hrs

After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. En route visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. DAY 07 –SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast at the lodge Full day in Serengeti with scheduled morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti National park . Overnight: Serengeti Sopa Lodge MEALS: All Meals at Serengeti Sopa Lodge

DAY 08 – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK - Distance 345kms - 7hrs

Breakfast at your lodge, then drive from to the Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River which rises in Tanzania's central highland. The river lures thousands of plains game to its banks. Lunch en route at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. After lunch proceed to Tarangire National park for an afternoon game drive en route to the lodge. One can spot the lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for Its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge MEALS: Breakfast – Serengeti Sopa Lodge Lunch – Lake Manyara Serena Lodge Dinner – Tarangire Sopa Lodge

DAY 09 – DEPART ARUSHA – Distance – 142kms - 2hrs

Breakfast followed by check out .Depart Tarangire and drive back to Arusha Arrive at the Mount Meru Hotel for lunch, After lunch transfer to the Kilimanjaro airport for your outbound flight. MEALS: Breakfast – Tarangire Sopa Lodge Lunch – Mount Meru Hotel.
