**This tour is a lodge tour using three to four star lodges, all with private en-suite facilities. One staff member takes care of the driving and guiding and hosting the clients while on tour. All breakfasts and dinners are enjoyed in the lodges. This tour also operates in reverse**

DAY 1: JOHANNESBURG
A shuttle bus from ORT International Airport takes you to the starting hotel. The day is free and the tour starts with a pre departure meeting at 18h00 in the reception of the hotel.

DAY 2 : BLYDE RIVER
Departing Johannesburg after breakfast we travel the scenic panorama route to our boutique hotel located in the Lowveld area of Mpumalanga.
Overnight at Hippo Hollow (or similar). (Accommodated – B. Dinner own account).

DAY 3/4: GREATER KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – TIMBAVATI PRIVATE RESERVE
The morning is spent viewing the spectacular Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window viewpoint and Bourkes Luck Potholes, en-route to the famous Timbavati Private Game Reserve situated in the Greater Kruger National Park. Shindzela tented safari camp provides guests with a true safari experience in a private game reserve – an ideal way to make the most of your Kruger safari holiday.
Day 3 we enjoy a late afternoon game drive and Day 4 we enjoy morning & afternoon game drives in search of the many animals inhabiting the reserve.

DAY 5/6 : LIMPOPO PROVINCE via Kruger National Park
Up at sunrise we exit Timbavati and enter the Kruger National Park at Phalaborwa gate. A full day game drive is enjoyed as we traverse north, exiting the park through the Pafuri gate to our lodge in the Limpopo Province where we experience a taste of the local Venda culture.
Day 5 we have dinner in a nearby cave. Day 6 is an early start with a walk to view some rock paintings returning to camp for breakfast. We then depart for a full day cultural tour which includes a visit to a local village, tavern & a school. Dinner is enjoyed in Venda style in the local village.

DAY 7/8 : MATOPOS NATIONAL PARK
An early departure takes us 2 hours to Beit Bridge border post where we cross into Zimbabwe. Entering Zimbabwe we travel to our lodge located on the edge of the World Heritage site - Matopos National Park. The following day is spent on a historic trek to Rhodes grave and walks to renowned caves and Bushman paintings. Our lodge is set within the large granite boulders of the Matopos.

DAY 9/10 : HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
Travelling through Zimbabwe we arrive early afternoon to Hwange National Park. We enjoy a late afternoon open 4x4 vehicle game drive in the private concession bordering Hwange National Park. The following morning we enjoy another game drive in the concession and in the afternoon relax at the lodge or an optional game drive (own expense).

DAY 11/12 : VICTORIA FALLS "MOSI-OA-TUNYA" - THE SMOKE THAT THUNDERS
We arrive midday to Victoria Falls - without doubt one of the greatest and most spectacular sights in Africa (entrance own account). The days are free to browse the local markets and to experience the many optional activities on offer in the adrenalin capital of Africa including helicopter flights over the Falls, sunset boat cruise etc (own expense).

DAY 13/14 : CHOBE RIVER - KASANE
Crossing into Botswana we travel to Kasane and our lodge situated on the banks of the Chobe River. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery, magnificent sunsets and abundance of wildlife and birdlife. The following day is spent on an early morning Game drive in Chobe National Park and a sunset Game viewing boat cruise on the Chobe River.

DAY 15: KASANE
Tour ends after breakfast with transfer to Kasane Airport. (B)
This itinerary will depend on local conditions.
